If you want to know the public address your router is getting, then it depends on the router, but you can always go to whatismyipaddress.com to get that ip if this doesn't work open notepad and type this: cd \ ipconfig /all>ipconfig.txt and save this to your desktop as something.bat double click this on the desktop and look in C:\ and you will see a file called ipconfig.txt that will have the info you need Answered by acidzfire - Fri Nov 16 12:49:09 2007 How to disable the changing of dns settings? Answered by ccg711 - Tue Dec 22 00:55:07 2009 What are the steps to install and configure DNS service and any zones on a new computer?
Q. I've got this new server machine that's got Windows Server 2003 installed on it without any additional services on it. Management purchased this machine for the sole purpose of an in-house hosting of a new domain name for the network. This DNS server must support dynamic updates because most of the machines on the network will use DHCP. All help and answers are greatly appreciated, thanks.
